ConferenceIntroduction

Nowadays, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, volcanic eruptions, extreme weather and other natural disasters occur with increasing frequency. For companies and all levels of government, one of the main problems is how to cope with various kinds of natural disasters and emergencies with effectively strategy and plans.

As the earliest, longest and most influential international conference of national emergency management, “ISEM’19” will be held in South-Central University for Nationalities in Wuhan in November 8-10. The organizers are University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professional Committee of Emergency Management, Chinese Society for Optimization, Overall Planning and Economic Mathematics (CSOOPEM), Institute of Policy and Management, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Management School, South-Central University for Nationalities. Conference Publication

The main body of the paper can be either in English or Chinese, but all papers must provide a title, an abstract and references in English. Each person is limited to register two papers. Each paper should be no more than 4 pages, extra pages will be charged RMB 350 per page (up to 4 more pages). All papers will be indexed by ISTP.

All excellent paper will be published in the above journals such as Chinese Journal of Management Sciences, Journal of Public Management, System Engineering-theory and practice, Research on Economic and Management, Operations Research Management Science, Journal of University of Electronic Science and Technology (Social Science Edition), Journal of safety science and technology in China
